Frequently asked

  • Who is this for?
Ambitious students and early builders, especially incoming CS students. Beginners welcome.
  • Do I need coding experience?
No. The sprint takes a beginner from a first API call to a working tool, one day at a time.
  • What will I have at the end?
A personal writing assistant that runs as an MCP server connected to Claude Desktop, drafting in your voice.
  • What will I actually learn?
The real foundations of AI engineering — embeddings, retrieval (RAG), and MCP — by using them to build a working tool, not by watching lectures. It’s the same stack behind most AI products today, and once you’ve built one tool this way you can build the next one for any domain.
  • How much time does it take?
7 days, roughly 30–60 minutes per day — a short mobile lesson plus a focused laptop build step.
  • What do I need to start?
A computer and a free Anthropic account — the sprint walks you through setup on Day 1, and a new account’s free credit covers the week. You also don’t need a back-catalog of your own writing: Day 1 helps you gather your voice either way.
  • What does it cost?
    The first cohort is free.
